Mathematics with Maxima

This repository contains material for a course that introduces Maxima in parallel with revising and extending the students knowledge of calculus. There are some nonstandard choices of mathematical content and approach motivated by the availability of Maxima. Most of the content is in the tutorial and lab problems and their solutions.

This version of the course is not fully developed. At the Maple version of the course, you will find a set of lab problems. Here you will find solutions to those problems using Maxima, with some changes as necessary to accommodate the differences between the two systems, but the lab instructions and general system introduction have not been translated to Maxima.
